Copper cathode output target almost met

TEHRAN – According to the latest data released by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) 98 percent of the country’s expected 11-month copper cathode production is realized.

Over 173,000 tons of the product was produced during the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2016- February 18, 2017) which shows a significant compliance with the forecasted production plan, IRNA reported.
Iran has put the annual production of 450,000 tons of copper cathode on the agenda by the end of its outlook plan for the calendar year of 1404 (March 20, 2026).
